Lua de Caldelas is located at the heart of the beautiful village of Caldelas, home of the Termas de Caldelas, the therapeutic springs known from the Roman days. For generations, the springs made Caldelas an ideal destination for people seeking cure and health.
The experience combines an updated interior design, wine bar that fusions the local tradition of Vinho Verde with fine dining from the Mediterranean, and an art gallery hosting local artists. In the vast garden guests can relax in one of the hot tubs overlooking the view or spend a magical evening by the fire pit, or rent mountain bikes for a day of adventure.
All the rooms are equipped with A/C, free fast wi-fi, and TV. Our Mediterranean breakfast is served daily to our guests, who can also enjoy free access to the hot tubs in our garden, where they can relax, heal and admire the view.

We stayed there for two days three months ago and immediately felt very comfortable. The hosts were very friendly, with great attention to detail. We received many excellent tips for excursions, which we followed, and the food was perfect. Dinner, breakfast, everything was just right. Thank you so much.
What a gem! Ziv and Keren have a beautiful hotel and restaurant. We have eaten there three times (with teenagers) and it was delicious every time. Pure ingredients and flavors. And there is such a lovely energy ❤️

Some meals feed you. This one made me feel like I'd come home. The ceviche was, without exaggeration, the best of my life — bright, clean, impossibly fresh, the kind of dish that makes you go quiet for a second because you weren't expecting to be moved by it. The menu changes every day, so nothing sits, nothing coasts. You eat what the sea and the season gave them that morning, and you can taste the difference in every bite. But what I keep coming back to isn't the food. It's Karen and Ziv. They don't host you like customers. They host you like family — the kind who pull up a chair, tell you what's good today, ask how your day was and actually wait for the answer. There's a generosity to them that you can't train into a person or write into a service manual. It's just who they are, and it soaks into everything on the table. I left full, but more than that, I left grateful. Karen and Ziv have built something rare here: a place where the cooking is extraordinary and the welcome is even better. Go hungry. Stay late.
